Description
Project Blueprint regulations were introduced to VB Supercar racing in 2005, effectively removing the ongoing fight over parity and standardising some of the parts beneath the skin of the Falcons and Commodores. Under the new regulations, Triple Eight Race Engineering developed their 5.0-litre BF Falcon to be more reliable and economical, and used the new sequential gearbox to their advantage.
Jamie Whincup had a stellar first season with the team in 2006 alongside Craig Lowndes, and it only took him until 2008 to clinch his first ATCC title. He has gone on to win an astounding six more ATCC titles, making him the driver with the most wins in the history of the championship.
The Ford BF Falcon postal numismatic cover is limited to just 6,500, featuring a pictorial envelope with the stamp and Ford BF Falcon tab from the 60 Years of Supercars stamp pack and an uncirculated coin from the Royal Australian Mint.
