Finding Nemo was created by Pixar Animation Studios (Pixar), a subsidiary of The Walt Disney Company in 2006. In the tropical waters of the Great Barrier Reef, curious clownfish Nemo lives in his anemone home with his dad, Marlin. Having led a protected life, Nemo is eager to start school and explore the reef that surrounds it. In Finding Nemo, the young fish is thrust on an unexpected adventure when he strays too far. It’s up to his dad to embark on an epic journey to save his only son.

The coin’s reverse portrays a smiling, coloured Nemo surrounded by a raised reef and bubbles. Dory swims behind, waving her fin and grinning. Included on the reverse are the inscriptions ‘Disney 100’
The obverse of the coin bears the Ian Rank-Broadley effigy of Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II supplemented by the dates of her reign ‘1952-2022’,
The coin is housed in a classic display case with a clear lid. Packaged with an illustrated shipper, each coin is accompanied by a numbered Certificate of Authenticity.
