2007 Sydney Harbour Bridge 75th Anniversary Celebrations 1oz Silver Proof Dollar Coin

The Perth Mint has released a special 1oz Silver Proof Coin to celebrate the 75th anniversary of the opening of the Sydney Harbour Bridge. The Sydney Harbour Bridge is a major icon for Sydney and Australia and is recognized all over the world. The major event for the Harbour Bridge every year is the New Year's Eve celebrations, with fireworks shooting above the bridge and lighting up the sky. The bridge was opened in 1932 with the then Premier of NSW Jack Lang officially opening the bridge with huge celebrations. The 1oz Silver proof coin portrays the image of the bridge with the fireworks celebrations overhead in colour. The 1oz silver coin has a limited mintage to only 10,000 coin being released. The coin come with a Numbered Certificate of Authenticity and is presented in a presentation case.
