Description
The Australian $1 coin was introduced in 1984 to replace the paper note, which had an increasingly short lifespan.
Featuring a design of Kangaroos on the reverse, the $1 coinhas had many commemorative designs in its 25 year history.
The 2009 Kangaroo $1 gold coin has been released to celebrate and commemorate the 25 year anniversary.
Produced in Gold and a very limited mintage of only 1,000 coins.
This is the first time we have had a coin to offer since its release.
