2002 Kangaroo 1oz Silver Proof Coin

The Royal Australian Mint has been releasing this series of coins for over ten years and has proven to be popular amongst coin collectors all over the world.

The Silver Kangaroo coin has a different design each year, 2001 to 2003 the theme was on Aboriginal artist and dreaming.

It has an Aboriginal design by Mark Nodea from Warmun (Turkey Creek) which depicts the history of this great land.

It comes presented in a proof finish and is packaged in the red and orchres finishes like the presentation case pictured.

The 2001 coin was awarded an International design trophy as the worlds 'Best Crown' coin.

The 1oz pure Silver Kangaroo coins are minted in 99.9% pure silver.
