The World Money Fair (WMF) was due to take place in Berlin on the 28th to 30th January 2022.
For only the second time in the event’s history, the show will now take place virtually on the 23rd to 28th February 2022.
To mark this special event, The Perth Mint has crafted an exclusive coloured coin for release in WMF packaging, featuring the new 2022 kookaburra design in vivid colour.
The Perth Mint will release no more than 1,500 of the World Money Fair Australian Kookaburra 2022 1oz Silver Coloured Coin.
The coin’s reverse portrays a coloured representation of a kookaburra perched on an ornamental bird bath among Agapanthus, flowering plants regularly seen in Australian gardens.
The coin is housed in a classic display case with a clear lid within a special World Money Fair 2022 shipper displaying the original show dates and is accompanied by a numbered Certificate of Authenticity.
