The 50th anniversary World Money Fair (WMF) was due to take place in Berlin on the 29th to 31st January 2021. For the first time in the event’s history, the show will now take place in a virtual format. To mark this special event, The Perth Mint has crafted an exclusive coloured coin for release in WMF packaging, featuring the new 2021 kookaburra design in vivid colour.
Each coin is struck by The Perth Mint from 1oz of 99.99% pure silver.
The Perth Mint will release no more than 1,500 of the Australian Kookaburra 2020 1oz Silver Coloured Coin in special World Money Fair 2021 packaging.
The coin’s design depicts a coloured representation of a kookaburra perched on a branch of a gum tree with leaves and seedpods.
The coin is housed in a classic display case with a clear lid within a special World Money Fair 2021 shipper and is accompanied by a numbered Certificate of Authenticity.
