2023 Fifty Cent Australian Antarctic Territory - Humpback Whale (50c) Uncirculated Australian Decimal Coin

Once hunted to near extinction, Humpback Whales are now found in oceans around the world and are a common sight off eastern and western Australia. These magnificent creatures feature on the new Royal Australian Mint series of coins depicting animals of the Australian Antarctic Territory. A pair of Humpbacks, one with calf, feature on the new 50c Coloured Uncirculated Coin struck by the Royal Australian Mint.

This attractive design shows one emerging from a deep blue sea, while parent and calf submerge with a splash of tailfins. The coin, with the late Queen Elizabeth II on reverse, comes on an attractive presentation card.
