Description

In 1908 the Government of the time made a decision to protect Australia's people, Plants and animal life from diseases. The Royal Australian Mint has released this Commemorative dollar coin with the Australian Quarantine Inspection Services (AQIS) detector dogon duty, protecting Australia from pest and diseases by detecting food, plants life, animals in passangers luggage around Austrslia's borders. The dollar coin is presented on a slim card and has the detector dog (the beagle) on display.
