2007 150th Anniversary of
South Australia State Government
$5 Silver Proof Coin
The Royal Australian Mint has released this $5 fine silver proof coin celebrating South Australia’s 150 years of State Government. The State of South Australia was granted their own State Government in 1857.
South Australia was one of the first places in the world to give women the right to vote and to stand for Parliament and also first of the Australian colonies to introduce universal manhood suffrage. This $5 fine silver proof coin has a mintage of 12,500 and is the fourth in a series of releases to celebrate self-government and statehood for all states and territories as their anniversaries are acknowledged in the coming years.

2007 International Polar Year
One Dollar Bronze Uncirculated Coin
The Royal Australian Mint has released beautifully designed uncirculated dollar coin depicting the Antarctic and Australian Antarctic Territory. The International Polar Year (IPY) is an international program into polar science. Australia as an original signatory to the Antarctic Treaty (1961) has a proud history of involvement and exploration of Antarctica.
The Australian Antarctic Territory is home to a number of famous Australian research bases, such as Casey, Davis and Mawson, (Australia's three permanent continental research stations) and Macquarie Island. Other research locations include Law Base (Larsemann Hills), Edgeworth David (Bunger Hills), the Prince Charles Mountains and Commonwealth Bay. When possible, projects are also conducted at remote Heard Island in the southern Indian Ocean.

2007 Sydney Harbour Bridge
One Dollar Silver Proof Coin
On the 19th of March 1932 the Sydney Harbour Bridge was officially opened and to commemorate the 75th anniversary the Royal Australian Mint has released a silver dollar coin. The design on the dollar coin depicts the remarkable moment as the two halves of the arch were joined. The coin is produced from 99.9% pure silver and comes with a Numbered Certificate. The silver dollar coin is limited to only 12,500 coins.
