Star Trek: Enterprise is set at the beginning of the Star Trek series timeline and follows the 22nd century adventures of Captain Jonathan Archer aboard the Enterprise NX-01 during the early days of interstellar travel.
Struck by The Perth Mint from 1oz of 99.9% pure silver, both coins are issued as legal tender under the authority of the Government of Tuvalu.
The Perth Mint will release no more than 1,500 of the Two-Coin Sets.
The Captain Archer coin’s reverse portrays a colour image of Scott Bakula as Captain Jonathan Archer as he appeared in Star Trek: Enterprise, against a representation of the Enterprise NX-01
The Enterprise coin’s reverse portrays a colour image of the Enterprise NX-01 flying over planets, as it appeared in the television series Star Trek: Enterprise.
The Two-Coin Set is packaged in a case designed to look like a Star Trek Transporter. The Captain Jonathan Archer coin sits inside and when the ‘door’ of the Transporter is opened, a light comes on so that the Captain appears to be teleporting.
The Enterprise NX-01coin sits on top of the case in its own compartment which also lights up.
Each coin is accompanied by a numbered Certificate of Authenticity.
