The One cent and Two cents - bronze coins are featured in the 2006 mint set for the first time since 1991 when they were removed from Australian circulating coins. The designs on the 2006 coins are the original 1966 designs representing the Australian Fauna and celebrate the 40 years of Australian decimal currency. The 2006 One cent and Two cent pieces were not released for general circulation and can only be obtained in the 2006 mint sets
