In October, Her Majesty The Queen is expected to visit Australia to attend the 2011 Commonwealth Heads of Government Meeting in Perth. The Queen is expected to be accompanied by His Royal Highness, the Duke of Edinburgh, on her sixteenth visit to the country.
The Queen’s last appointment to Australia was in 2006, when she opened the Commonwealth Games in Melbourne.
